I would be interested in a long hair, mini when you have puppies available. We have a sheltie and would like to give him a playmate. You can contact me by email.

Leslie-You may not remember talking with me this past winter--we had a very long conversation on the phone and you said after talking with me you were very confident that my hubby & I knew a lot about raising and caring for them after we lost our little guy Max to cancer at 14 yrs age. Our phone number is 419-666-8843. We are now able to care properly for a a male, long hairblack and tan or red if you have one you think will be on the larger size (9-14 lbs)

I own 2 doxies. Black and tan male 13.5 years old. Silver dapple female 5 years. My dearly departed Peaches female died 2 days away from her 18th birthday. I have no kids and my dogs are my whole world. I love them so much it hurts! I am thinking about another puppy for my 5 year old to grow up with. My male has had a terrible back problem since 2001 and can't play rough with the younger one. We make up for it by playing with her but it's not the same having Zorro to play with. That's Snickers buddy. Any suggestions? Should I or shouldn't I? It just that it hurts so bad when they are sick or dying. I about died with my other dog's death. It still hurts after 4 years. I love doxies!!! Always and forever!!!

Hi Robin,

I emailed you yesterday about this and hope to hear back from you. It really depends upone the personalities of your Dachy's whether they be male or female upon what gender to bring in as a new family member. Hope you feel comfortable enough to give me a call. Thank you for contacting me and asking my opnion.

Hi,
I enjoyed your site. I just lost my Jack Russell/Beagle that I've had for 17 years. She was the love of my life. I've always been very fond of Dauxies and am looking for one that is young, but not a pup. I work 3 and a half days and would like one that is housebroken. I prefer the red smooth haired type...if you can ever help me with this, please send me an email. Thank you. June

Hi June,
I am sorry to hear about your loss and to me it's just as hard to lose a beloved pet as it is to lose a family member. I will keep you in mind if I have an older pup or adult that is looking for a new loving forever home. Please check back her periodically.

Again, I am asking you to please not place any advertizements, of any kind on my web site or here in my guest book. This is for people to leave comments about this web site and just the love of the Dachshund Breed or other pets.
Thank you
